اَعَنis it about عُهُرِfornication المَلعونِthe accursed one جِئتَyou have come مُخَبِّراًreporting
اَعَن عُهُرِ المَلعونِ جِئتَ مُخَبِّراً
وَماand not هُوَhe فيماin what جاءَهُcame to him غَيرُother than مَعذورِexcused
وَما هُوَ فيما جاءَهُ غَيرُ مَعذورِ
Have you come to report the accursed one's fornication?
You come to tell of the cursed man's life,
And he is not without excuse for what has come to him.
Yet he is excused in all that has come to him.
إِلىuntil الآنَnow ماnot اِستَوفىhe received in full وَلاand not even رُبعَa quarter كُلِّهِall of it
إِلى الآنَ ما اِستَوفى وَلا رُبعَ كُلِّهِ
وَلَوand even if نالَhe received حَتّىuntil يوقَظُis awakened القَبرُthe grave بِالصورِby the Trumpet
وَلَو نالَ حَتّى يوقَظُ القَبرُ بِالصورِ
Until now he has not received even a full quarter of it all,
Until now he has not fulfilled even a quarter,
Even if he kept receiving until the grave is awakened by the Trumpet.
Even if he gained until the trumpet woke the grave.
