قَدِمتَyou arrived فَأَقدَمتَand you brought forth النَدىbounty يَحمِلُcarries الرِضاcontentment
قَدِمتَ فَأَقدَمتَ النَدى يَحمِلُ الرِضا
إِلىto كُلِّevery غَضبانٍangry person عَلىwith الدَهرِfate عاتِبِreproachful
إِلى كُلِّ غَضبانٍ عَلى الدَهرِ عاتِبِ
You arrived and brought forth bounty bearing contentment
To everyone angry with fate and reproachful of it.
وَجِئتَand you came كَماas جاءَcame السَحابُthe clouds مُحَرِّكاًmoving
وَجِئتَ كَما جاءَ السَحابُ مُحَرِّكاً
يَدَيكَyour two hands بِمَعروفٍwith generosity يَفيmeasures up بِالسَحائِبِto the clouds
يَدَيكَ بِمَعروفٍ يَفي بِالسَحائِبِ
And you came as the clouds come, moving
Your two hands with generosity that measures up to the clouds.
