وَإِنَّAnd indeed بِلاداًlands ماnot اِحتَلَتhave adorned themselves بيwith me لَعاطِلٌare surely unadorned
وَإِنَّ بِلاداً ما اِحتَلَت بي لَعاطِلٌ
وَإِنَّAnd indeed زَماناًan age ماnot وَفىhas kept faith ليwith me لَخَوّانُis surely most treacherous
وَإِنَّ زَماناً ما وَفى لي لَخَوّانُ
And indeed, lands that have not adorned themselves with me are bare of ornament.
And indeed, an age that has not kept faith with me is utterly treacherous.
