هَذيthese قُرونُhorns حماةٍHama جِئتَyou have come تَأخُذُهاto seize them
هَذي قُرونُ حماةٍ جِئتَ تَأخُذُها
وَإِنَّand indeed إِمساكَهاgrasping them يُفضيleads إِلىto حَلَبِAleppo (also “milking,” a pun)
وَإِنَّ إِمساكَها يُفضي إِلى حَلَبِ
These are Hama’s horns, which you have come to seize;
And indeed, grasping them leads to Aleppo.
