So may the days never undo the knot of its rein,
The days have not unknotted the reins he holds
Nor may the sun rob it of its portico's shade.

Yet I yearn for a mouthful of his land's dust
And to lay my breast upon it, embracing it.
And to throw myself upon it in an embrace.
