As for the Pleiades, they are a sandal beneath the arch of his foot.
The Thurayya is a slipper under his heel,
And every nape says to him, 'Tread!'
And every rhyme has said the same about that.

And how could I slacken in weaving praise of
How can I refrain from praising the weaving
a generosity that, when a hopeful seeker comes to it, grows eager for him?
Of generosity, when the hopeful comes to him eager—

When I carry a letter with your sweet fragrance
If I were to carry a letter with your sweet perfume
in it, I am nothing but the bearer of a scent-box.
In it, I would only be a carrier of pages.
