A celestial sphere is nailed fast to whatever grieves the noble man;
So blame the noble one for what went wrong,
he is held by it in a fetter nailed fast for him.
He is bound by it, for it is his fate.
وَإِذاand when تَقَطَّعَتِare severed القَرائِنُthe ties بِالفَتىfor the young man

And when the young man's ties are severed,
And when the signs are cut off from the youth,
he casts both hands into the hand of fate.
He stretches his hands to the hand of destiny.
