وَأَيسَرُand the least ماthat which نالَhas inflicted مِنّيupon me الغَليburning thirst (word continues)
وَأَيسَرُ ما نالَ مِنّي الغَلي
لَcompletion of “burning thirst” أَلّاthat … not أَحِسَّI feel مِنَfrom الماءِthe water بَرداcoolness
لَ أَلّا أَحِسَّ مِنَ الماءِ بَردا
And the least that burning thirst has inflicted upon me
The easiest thing I gained from passion
is that I feel no coolness from water.
Is that I no longer feel the chill of water
