وَها هُوَ يَرجو في غَدٍ وَعدَ يَومِهِ

وَها هُوَ يَرجو في غَدٍ وَعدَ يَومِهِ

لَعَلَّ غَداً يَأبى لِمُنتَظِرٍ عُذرا

لَعَلَّ غَداً يَأبى لِمُنتَظِرٍ عُذرا

And here he is, hoping tomorrow will fulfill his day's promise;

Perhaps tomorrow will deny an excuse to one who waits.
