وَإِذا مَحاسِنُ أَوجُهٍ بَلِيَت

وَإِذا مَحاسِنُ أَوجُهٍ بَلِيَت

فَعَفا الثَرى عَن وَجهِهِ الحَسَنِ

فَعَفا الثَرى عَن وَجهِهِ الحَسَنِ

And when the beauty of faces has faded,

And when the beauty of faces decays,

the earth spared his lovely face.

then may the earth spare his beautiful face.
