لاdo not تُنكِرواfind fault with عَرَقَsweat المَريضِthe sick person فَإِنَّهُfor indeed it
لا تُنكِروا عَرَقَ المَريضِ فَإِنَّهُ
لِضَرورَةٍbecause of a necessity أَمسَتhas become إِلَيهِfor it داعِيَهcalling
لِضَرورَةٍ أَمسَت إِلَيهِ داعِيَه
Do not find fault with the sick man's sweat, for it
Do not deny the sick man's sweat, for it
arises from a necessity that has come to demand it.
Is caused by a need that drives him to it.
فَلِكُلِّso, for every عُضوٍbody part مُقلَةٌan eye مِنof حَقِّهاits right
فَلِكُلِّ عُضوٍ مُقلَةٌ مِن حَقِّها
طولُlong duration البَكاءِweeping عَلىover فِراقِparting from العافِيَهhealth
طولُ البَكاءِ عَلى فِراقِ العافِيَه
For every body part has an eye, whose right it is
Every organ has a rightful claim
to weep long over the loss of health.
To weep long for health's goodbye.
