تَخَطّى إِلَيَّ السَهلَ وَالقَفرُ دونَهُ

تَخَطّى إِلَيَّ السَهلَ وَالقَفرُ دونَهُ

وَأَخطارُهُ لا أَصغَرَ اللَهُ مَمشاهُ

وَأَخطارُهُ لا أَصغَرَ اللَهُ مَمشاهُ

He crossed the plain toward me, with the wilderness before him,

He crossed over to me the plains and the desert was behind him

And its dangers—may God never belittle his journey.

And his footsteps which God did not make small
