And he has flooded the world with the tears of his eyelids,
He has flooded the world with tears from his eyelids,
Yet love did not happen to drown in it.
Yet love did not concur to drown with those tears.

Then do not blame me if I say: closeness will not return.
Reproach me not if I say, nearness cannot return.
