What ails the doves of the ghada trees, singing melodies?
The green leaves sing melodies,
They sing and lament their love above the branches.
Singing and lamenting their passion upon the branches.

And renewed the pact of my passions and sorrows.

Days of our pact - how beautiful that time was!
It never crossed my mind without wounding me.
Nothing comes to mind except that it consoles me.
