وَكادَت تَذوبُ لَهُنَّ المُهَج
When calamities reach their utmost limit,
When hardships reach their peak
When misfortunes reach their utmost limit,
And hearts nearly melt because of them,
And hearts are melting with grief and ache
And souls are nearly melting from the strain,
وَحَلَّand descends البَلاءُaffliction وَبانَand departs العَزاءُsolace

فَعِندَ التَناهي يَكونُ الفَرَج
And affliction descends and solace departs,
When trials abound and comfort's rare
And affliction descends while solace departs,
Then, at the utmost extreme, relief comes.
Deliverance comes, rest assured, somewhere
Then, at the very point of extremity, relief arrives.
