إِطعَن بِها طَعنَ أَبيكَ تُحمَدِ

لا خَيرَ في حَربٍ إِذا لَم تُوقَدِ

Thrust with it as your father thrust, and you will be praised.

Stab with it as your father stabbed

There is no good in a war unless it is kindled

بِالمَشرَفِيِّ وَالقَنا المُسَدَّدِ

وَالضَربَ بِالخَطِّيِّ وَالمُهَنَّدِ

وَالضَربَ بِالخَطِّيِّ وَالمُهَنَّدِ
