جَنبيmy side تَجافىhas drawn away عَنِfrom الوِسادِthe pillow
خَوفاًin fear مِنَof المَوتِdeath وَالمَعادِand resurrection
My side has drawn away from the pillow,
My side shunned the pillow
My side has shunned the pillow,
For fear of death and resurrection.
Fearing death and the return
In fear of death and the Return.

Whoever fears the stupor of death
He who fears the intoxication of demise
He who dreads the stupor of death
Does not know what the pleasure of sleep is.
Knows not the delight of slumber
Knows not the pleasure of slumber.
قَدindeed بَلَغَhas reached الزَرعُthe crop مُنتَهاهُits full growth
لاno بُدَّescape لِلزَّرعِfor the crop مِنfrom حَصادِharvesting
The crop has reached its full growth;
The crops have reached their end
The crop has reached its full maturity,
The crop must be harvested.
The crops must be harvested
And the crop must inevitably be harvested.
