If you wish to be exalted, visit frequently.
If you wish to rise high, visit regularly.
If you seek to be exalted, visit continuously,
And if you wish to be loved more, visit only now and then.
And if you want love to grow, visit less often.
And if you wish to increase in love, visit intermittently.

Keeping someone company does good on occasion.
Seeing people now and then improves affection.
Companionship is delightful when it happens once in a while,
And if they indulge in it too often, they spoil the love.
But see them too frequently, and you spoil a friendship.
But if they make a habit of it, they ruin the love.
