If livelihoods flowed to each
If livelihoods were granted according to
As much as servants merit,
The measure of what the servant deserves,
Employed would be employer,
Then he who is served would become a servant,
Sadness vanish, fortune appear,
And misfortune would vanish, and good fortune appear,
Time would favor the worthy,
And Time would deal justly with its people,
Glory and might connect.
And nobility would be joined with glory,
But livelihoods flow as He alone ordains,
But they flow along their appointed course,
The One, the Singular, intends.
Just as the One, the Singular, wills.
