أَرىI see الدُنياthe world سَتُؤذِنُwill announce بِانطِلاقِof departure
أَرى الدُنيا سَتُؤذِنُ بِانطِلاقِ
مُشَمِّرَةًwith its robe tucked up عَلىon قَدَمٍa foot وَساقِand a shank
مُشَمِّرَةً عَلى قَدَمٍ وَساقِ
I see the world will announce its departure,
I see this world is about to set forth
I see the world signaling its departure,
Its robe tucked up, on foot and shank.
Girding up its loins, ready to start,
Girding itself for flight with urgent haste,
فَلاso ... not الدُنياthe world بِباقيَةٍenduring لِحَيٍّfor a living being
فَلا الدُنيا بِباقيَةٍ لِحَيٍّ
وَلاnor حَيّa living being عَلىin الدُنياthe world بِباقِenduring
وَلا حَيّ عَلى الدُنيا بِباقِ
So the world does not endure for any living soul,
For neither is the world for one who lives
For neither does the world remain for the living,
Nor does any living soul endure in the world.
Nor one who lives for this world to stay.
Nor does the living remain upon the world.
