أَفلَحَhas prospered مَنwhoever كانَتhad been لَهُfor him قَوصَرَهa date basket
أَفلَحَ مَن كانَت لَهُ قَوصَرَه
يَأكُلُhe eats مِنهاfrom it كُلُevery يَومٍday تَمَرهa date
يَأكُلُ مِنها كُلُ يَومٍ تَمَره
He prospers who has a basket of dates,
He who owns a date palm tree
Prosperous is he who possesses a date-basket,
from which he eats a date each day.
Eats a date from it every day
From which he eats a date every day.
