Perhaps a spring will clear to quench a parched soul,
Whose thirst the turbid watering place prolonged.
Perhaps the naked bodies will be clothed,
And the humiliated, the oppressed, will be granted victory.
Perhaps the Mender of the broken bone, in His kindness,
Will look with mercy on the fracture so it is set.
Perhaps figures that injustice has buried deep
Will find a justice destined to arrive and reveal them.
Perhaps God—do not despair of God—for truly,
What is mighty and difficult is easy for Him.
