Be patient with time; do not be angry with anyone.
Be patient with fate, do not get angry at anyone
Be patient with the turns of time, and hold anger against no one,
For you will see only what is inscribed in time.
You will not see anything other than what is destined
For you will witness nothing save what is already inscribed.
وَلاand do not تَقيمَنَّever stay بِدارٍin a dwelling لاno انتِفاعَbenefit بِهاfrom it
وَلا تَقيمَنَّ بِدارٍ لا انتِفاعَ بِها

فَالأَرضُ واسِعَةٌ وَالرِزقُ مَبسوطُ
And never stay in a dwelling that offers no benefit,
Do not settle in a home from which you derive no benefit
And do not abide in a dwelling where no benefit remains,
For the earth is vast, and sustenance is spread wide.
For the earth is vast and sustenance is spread wide
For the earth is vast, and sustenance is widely spread.
