إِصبِرbe patient قَليلاًa little فَبَعدَfor after العُسرِhardship تَيسيرُease
إِصبِر قَليلاً فَبَعدَ العُسرِ تَيسيرُ
وَكُلُّand every أَمرٍmatter لَهُfor it وَقتٌa time وَتَدبيرُand a plan
وَكُلُّ أَمرٍ لَهُ وَقتٌ وَتَدبيرُ
Be patient a little, for after hardship comes ease.
Be patient a little while, after hardship comes ease
Be patient a while, for after hardship comes relief,
And every matter has its time and plan.
And every matter has an appointed time and way
And every affair has its appointed time and ordained plan,
وَلِلمُهَيمِنِand for the All-Watchful فيin حالاتِناour circumstances نَظَرٌwatchful regard
وَلِلمُهَيمِنِ في حالاتِنا نَظَرٌ
وَفَوقَand above تَقديرِناour planning لِلّهِfor God تَقديرُa decree
وَفَوقَ تَقديرِنا لِلّهِ تَقديرُ
And the All-Watchful watches over our circumstances.
And the All-Watchful has regard for our conditions
For the Supreme Guardian keeps watch over our states,
And above our plans stands God's decree.
And above our destiny is God's destiny
And above our own reckoning lies the Decree of God.
