إِذاif أَذِنَpermits اللَهُGod فيfor حاجَةٍa need
إِذا أَذِنَ اللَهُ في حاجَةٍ
أَتاكَcomes to you النَجاحُsuccess بِهاin it يَركُضُruns
أَتاكَ النَجاحُ بِها يَركُضُ
If God permits a need to be fulfilled,
If God grants permission for a need,
Success in it comes running to you.
Success comes racing to you with it.
وَإِنand if أَذِنَpermits اللَهُGod فيfor غَيرِهاsomething other than it
وَإِن أَذِنَ اللَهُ في غَيرِها
أَتىcomes دونَهاin its way عارِضٌan obstacle يَعرِضُintervenes
أَتى دونَها عارِضٌ يَعرِضُ
And if God wills otherwise,
But if God decrees otherwise,
An obstacle comes to stand in its way.
An obstacle arrives to bar the way.
