هُمومَ عَجزٍ وَهِمَّةَ الكَرَم
I find myself between cares and aspirations:
I have become caught between worries and high resolves,
the cares of helplessness and the aspiration to generosity.
The worries of incapacity and the ambition of generosity.

Blessed is whoever attains the measure of his aspiration,
Blessed is the one who attains the measure of his ambition,
or gains the dignity of contentment with his allotted share.
Or attains the dignity of contentment with his allotted share.
