دَليلُكَ أَنَّ الفَقرَ خَيرٌ مِنَ الغِنى

دَليلُكَ أَنَّ الفَقرَ خَيرٌ مِنَ الغِنى

وَأَنَّ القَليلَ المالِ خَيرٌ مِنَ المُثري

وَأَنَّ القَليلَ المالِ خَيرٌ مِنَ المُثري

Your proof that poverty is better than wealth,

Your poverty is proof that being poor is better than being rich

Your proof that poverty is better than wealth,

and that one with little wealth is better than the wealthy,

And that having little wealth is better than having plenty

And that the one of little means is better than the affluent,

لِقاؤُكَ مَخلوقاً عَصى اللَهَ لِلغِنى

لِقاؤُكَ مَخلوقاً عَصى اللَهَ لِلغِنى

وَلَم تَرَ مَخلوقاً عَصى اللَهَ لِلفَقرِ

وَلَم تَرَ مَخلوقاً عَصى اللَهَ لِلفَقرِ

is your encountering a creature who disobeyed God for wealth,

When you meet someone who disobeyed God because of wealth

Is that you encounter a creature who disobeyed God for riches,

and you have not seen a creature who disobeyed God for poverty.

You never meet someone who disobeyed God because of poverty

Yet you have never seen a creature disobey God for the sake of poverty.
