ياO أَكرَمَnoblest الخَلقِcreation عَلىin the sight of اللَهِGod
وَالمُصطفىand the chosen one بِالشَرَفِwith honor الباهيresplendent
O noblest of creation in God's sight,
O the most virtuous of creations in Allah's sight
O most noble of creation in the sight of God,
And the chosen one, endowed with resplendent honor,
And the chosen one with evident glory
And the Chosen One of radiant honor,
مُحَمدُMuhammad المُختارُthe chosen one مَهَماwhatever أَتىmay come
مِنof مُحَدثٍa newly arisen event مُستَفظعٍdreadful ناهيforbidding
Muhammad, the chosen one—whatever may come
Muhammad the chosen, whatever he brought
Muhammad the Elect, whenever there arises
By way of a new, dreadful, forbidding event,
Of the new and the frightful denier
A grave calamity, terrible and forbidding,
فَاِندُبthen summon لَهُfor it حَيدَرَHaydar لاnot غَيرَهُanyone other than him
فَلَيسَfor he is not بِالغَمرِan inexperienced man وَلاnor اللاهيheedless
Then summon Haydar for it, and no one else,
So sing the praises of Haydar and none other
Then call upon Haydar for it, and no one else,
For he is neither inexperienced nor heedless.
He is neither negligent nor uncaring
For he is neither inexperienced nor negligent.
تَرىyou see عِمادَthe pillar of الكُفرِunbelief مِنby سَيفِهِhis sword
مُنَكَّساًcast down باطِلَهُits falsehood واهيfrail
You see the pillar of unbelief, by his sword,
You see the pillars of disbelief from his sword
You see the pillar of disbelief, struck by his sword,
Cast down, its falsehood frail.
Broken, its falsehood feeble and weak
Overthrown, its falsehood weak and frail.
هَلِare ...? العِدىthe foes إِلّاbut ذِئابٌwolves عَوَتhave howled
مَعwith كُلِّevery ناسٍone who forgets نَفسَهُhimself ساهيheedless
Are the foes anything but wolves that have howled,
Is animosity anything but wolves that have rebelled
Are the enemies anything but wolves that howl
With every heedless one who forgets himself?
With every vile soul its own ruination
At everyone who forgets himself and is oblivious?
سَيهزمُwill be routed الجَمعُthe host عَلىon عقبِهِits heel
بِحَيدَرٍby Haydar وَالنَصرُand victory بِاللَهِthrough God
The host will be driven back on its heels
The multitudes will be defeated in their heels
The multitude shall be defeated, turning on their heels
By Haydar—and victory is through God.
By Haydar, and victory is with Allah
By Haydar, and victory comes from God.
