وَهَوِّن عَلَيكَ فَإِنَّ الأُمورَ

وَهَوِّن عَلَيكَ فَإِنَّ الأُمورَ

بِكَفِّ الإِلَهِ مَقاديرُها

بِكَفِّ الإِلَهِ مَقاديرُها

And take it easy on yourself, for all affairs—

And let it be easy for you, for the matters

Ease your burden, for the outcomes of all matters

their destinies lie in the hand of God.

Are in the palm of God, their destinies.

Rest in the hand of God, who holds their destinies;

فَلَيسَ بِآتيكَ مَنهِيُّها

فَلَيسَ بِآتيكَ مَنهِيُّها

وَلا قاصِرٌ عَنكَ مَأمورُها

وَلا قاصِرٌ عَنكَ مَأمورُها

For what He has forbidden will not come to you,

So there will not come to you their preventer

Whatever is withheld from you shall never come to you,

nor will what He has ordained fail to reach you.

Nor will their executor fall short of you.

And whatever is decreed for you shall never fail to reach you.
