فأجريتم لأدمُعنا عُيونا

You stole enchantment from the gazelle’s eyes,

You stole magic from the gazelle's eyes

So you made our tears flow in springs.

And made our tears into eyes

وجُرتُم حاكمين على البرايا

وجُرتُم حاكمين على البرايا

فريقا تقتلون وتأسُرُونا

فريقا تقتلون وتأسُرُونا

And you ruled unjustly over humankind:

You marched as rulers over the wilderness

Some you kill, and others you take captive.

A gang that kills and imprisons us
