So whenever a man seeks healing,

No matter how much a sick man desires healing,

he takes the medicine by casting it out;

He takes medicine only to vomit it up.

فينظر طالع عبد الرّحيم

ويحذر خُرُوجا لأمعائه

then he looks at Abd al-Rahim’s horoscope,

So look at the fate of Abdur Rahim,

and takes care lest his bowels come out.

And beware that your guts don't come spewing out.
