أمولاي عُذرا من ضني عنك عاقني
وسرand go فيin أمانprotection اللهGod منfrom سائرall الخوفfear
وسر في أمان الله من سائر الخوف
O my lord, pardon me for a wasting illness that kept me from you.
My love, forgive me for neglecting you.
And go in God's protection, safe from all fear.
My secret is safe with God, free from all fear.
ركبتمyou rode بريحwith the wind of النّصرvictory تنحونyou head toward قبلةthe qibla (prayer direction)
ركبتم بريح النّصر تنحون قبلة
أمسكنيheld me back إمساكretention ريحwind (intestinal gas) منfrom الجوفthe belly
أمسكني إمساك ريح من الجوف
You rode with the wind of victory, heading toward the qibla.
You ride the winds of triumph toward destiny.
Trapped wind in my belly held me back.
Hold me close like the breath inside my chest.
