يا أيّها الملكُ الأغرُّ جنابُهُ

يا أيّها الملكُ الأغرُّ جنابُهُ

لا زلت بالنّصر العزيز جديرا

لا زلت بالنّصر العزيز جديرا

O king, whose presence is radiant,

O noble king, glory be!

May you always remain worthy of mighty victory.

Victory you still deserve.

راض الإلاه لك الزّمان وطالما

راض الإلاه لك الزّمان وطالما

قد كان عنك من الحياء نفورا

قد كان عنك من الحياء نفورا

God has tamed time for you, and for so long

God's will brings you triumph -

it had recoiled from you out of shame.

Modesty once you reserved.

ما ضلّ عنك النّصرُ قبلُ وإنّما

ما ضلّ عنك النّصرُ قبلُ وإنّما

في ظُلمات الظّلم كان حصيرا

في ظُلمات الظّلم كان حصيرا

Victory did not lose its way to you before; rather,

Victory never left your side,

it was confined in the darkness of injustice.

Though in injustice it was mired.

لمّا أراد اللهُ قهر عدُوّكم

لمّا أراد اللهُ قهر عدُوّكم

آواك بالتّأييد منهُ مُجيرا

آواك بالتّأييد منهُ مُجيرا

When God willed to subdue your enemy,

When God willed your foe be quelled,

He sheltered you with His aid, granting refuge.

With success He you inspired.

فهدى لك النّصر العزيز بأمره

فهدى لك النّصر العزيز بأمره

وكفى بربّك هايا ونصيرا

وكفى بربّك هايا ونصيرا

So He guided mighty victory to you by His command,

So victory He made your guide,

And your Lord suffices as a guide and helper.

Your Lord sufficient aide supplied.
