Love wasted my body away until it became
Love has dissolved my body until it became
an indivisible atom, with no parts.
An essence, singular, with no division
فلوand if بهwith it احتجّan argument were made علىagainst مُدّعيone claiming
فلو به احتجّ على مُدّعي
قسمتهits division لاthen (reading لا نقطع as لَانقطع) نقطعwould be silenced (in لَانقطع) الخصمُthe opponent
قسمته لا نقطع الخصمُ
Were it used as proof against one claiming
So if with it one disputed a claimant
its divisibility, the opponent would be silenced.
To divide it, the quarrel could have no end
