لئن ظهرت بالجسم منك طوالعُ

لئن ظهرت بالجسم منك طوالعُ

ففيها ذليلٌ عن كمالك قاطعُ

ففيها ذليلٌ عن كمالك قاطعُ

If indeed rising stars have appeared upon your body,

Though your rising radiance shines from this mortal frame

Then in them is something lowly, decisive concerning your perfection (the wording is unclear).

It but faintly hints at your perfect grace.

فإنّك أفقٌ للجمال بأسره

فإنّك أفقٌ للجمال بأسره

وإنّ من الافاق تبدُو الطّوالعُ

وإنّ من الافاق تبدُو الطّوالعُ

For you are a horizon for beauty in its entirety,

For you are the boundless horizon of all beauty -

And indeed, from horizons the rising stars appear.

And horizons give birth to the dawning rays.
