باسمه بل أكنى وأبدي جُحوده
I am smitten with one of whom I never spoke openly
By name; rather, I allude to him and profess to deny him.
ذكرُهُmention of him شاعspread فيin بُرُودةcoolness ثغرa mouth
ذكرُهُ شاع في بُرُودة ثغر
لمnot تجدyou have found ثانياan equal لهُto it فيin بُرُودهits coolness
لم تجد ثانيا لهُ في بُرُوده
Word of him spread through the coolness of a mouth
Whose coolness you have found none to match.
