you see the full moon veiled on its horizon.

إذا ما تبسّم عن لؤلؤ

يكادُ سنا برقه يذهبُ

يكادُ سنا برقه يذهبُ

When he smiles, revealing pearls,

the radiance of his lightning almost steals one's sight.
