قلبي ناظريه كليمُ

I love him—slender, with bewitching glances.

My heart is wounded by his eyes.

سكن الفؤاد ولم يخف نيرانهُ

أيخافُ حرّ النّار إِبراهيمُ

أيخافُ حرّ النّار إِبراهيمُ

He dwelt in the heart and did not fear its flames.
