ونضّاخةand a gushing fountain فيin الأوجthe zenith يعلوrises صعودُهاits ascent
ونضّاخة في الأوج يعلو صعودُها
كقطعةlike a piece of بلّورcrystal تضمّنهاenclosed it ثلجُsnow
كقطعة بلّور تضمّنها ثلجُ
And a gushing fountain whose ascent soars to the zenith,
A bubble rises high in its ascent
Like a piece of crystal enclosed in snow.
Like a crystal containing snow
حكتmirrored برّbounty مولاناour lord المعطّرperfumed بالثّناwith praise
حكت برّ مولانا المعطّر بالثّنا
فمنso whoever أمّهُsought him نالattained الّذيwhat يرجُوhe hopes for
فمن أمّهُ نال الّذي يرجُو
It mirrored our lord’s bounty, perfumed with praise;
She told of our scented Lord with praise
So whoever sought him attained what he hoped for.
He who hopes has gained from his mother
