سر إلى الأعداء أمُم أرضهم
إذاwhen أتىcomes الفتحُconquest وذُوand the perpetrator of البغيoppression تنحّىwithdraws
إذا أتى الفتحُ وذُو البغي تنحّى
March toward the enemies; make for their land,
Go forth to foes, o nations of their land
when conquest comes and the oppressor withdraws.
When conquest comes and oppressors stand aside
وأتاكand comes to you النّصرُvictory فيin تاريخهits date (chronogram)
وأتاك النّصرُ في تاريخه
أمّهُseek it إنّاindeed, We فتحناWe have granted conquest لكto you فتحاa conquest
أمّهُ إنّا فتحنا لك فتحا
And victory comes to you—in its chronogram,
And victory comes to you throughout its time
seek it: “Indeed, We have granted you a conquest.”
