ألا يا مالكا بجزيل شُكره

ألا يا مالكا بجزيل شُكره

وآخذ حقه بجيمل صبره

وآخذ حقه بجيمل صبره

Hark, O you who rule through your abundant gratitude,

O ruler, with abundant thanks

and secure your due through your noble patience,

And taking his right with beautiful patience

وناشر عدله بين الرّعايا

وناشر عدله بين الرّعايا

وساحب أمنه بجميع قُطره

وساحب أمنه بجميع قُطره

and spread your justice among the subjects,

And spreading his justice among the subjects

and draw your security across your entire realm:

And drawing his security over all his lands

لك البشرى بما وُلّيت فاسعد

لك البشرى بما وُلّيت فاسعد

به واشكر إلاهك حقّ شُكره

به واشكر إلاهك حقّ شُكره

Glad tidings to you for the charge entrusted to you; rejoice

Good tidings to you for what you have been given so be happy with it

in it, and thank your God as He deserves to be thanked.

And thank your God as is His right to be thanked

بلغت من العدُوّ مُناك طُرّا

بلغت من العدُوّ مُناك طُرّا

وما يحوي من الدّنيا بأسره

وما يحوي من الدّنيا بأسره

You have won from the enemy all you wished for,

You have reached the highest point against the enemy

and all that he possesses of this world.

And all that the world contains in its entirety

طلبت من الإلاه عليه نصرا

طلبت من الإلاه عليه نصرا

فآواكم وأيدكم بنصره

فآواكم وأيدكم بنصره

You asked God for victory over him,

You sought from God victory over him

so He sheltered you all and strengthened you with His aid.

So He supported you and aided you with His victory
