Lo, devote your rejoicing to the Great Mosque,
Let us hasten to the Great Mosque
for the rain, and say: 'Ruin has left you.'
Seeking relief, saying, "May the unruly one part from you."

Al-Zaytuna Mosque has now become a garden,
Tomorrow the Olive Tree Mosque will be a garden
resplendent with flowers, never forsaken by rain.
Of flowers blooming, never parted from by rain.
