كمmany a جائرone who strays عنّيaway from me غداbecame عادلاjust
كم جائر عنّي غدا عادلا
معwith العدىthe enemies سيرتُهُhis conduct عادلهْfair
مع العدى سيرتُهُ عادلهْ
Many a man who strayed from me has become just;
How many an unjust one has become just
his conduct toward enemies is fair.
His conduct with the foe is just
انindeed حُبّهُhis love جادتهُhis path سائليmy questioner
ان حُبّهُ جادتهُ سائلي
تُخبُرُهُinforms him مخبرةٌan informant سائلهflowing
تُخبُرُهُ مخبرةٌ سائله
Indeed, his love is his path, O my questioner;
If you ask his love and generosity
a flowing informant tells him.
An inquirer, herself inquiring, will inform you
