فَهِمَّتُهُso his ambition جَيشٌan army وَعَزمَتُهُand his resolve سُرىًa night march
فَهِمَّتُهُ جَيشٌ وَعَزمَتُهُ سُرىً
وَفِكرَتُهُand his thought حَربٌwar وَآراؤُهُand his counsels جُندُtroops
وَفِكرَتُهُ حَربٌ وَآراؤُهُ جُندُ
So his ambition is an army, and his resolve a night march.
His understanding an army, his determination a cavalry
And his thought is war, and his counsels are troops.
