هَيهاتَ فاتَ مُرَزَّأٌ وَتَخَلَّفَت
عَنهُbehind him مَقاريفُthe baseborn الرِجالِof men فُلولاrouted
عَنهُ مَقاريفُ الرِجالِ فُلولا
Far beyond recall—a generous man, one all could draw upon, is gone; left trailing
Far beyond reach! A lavish giver has sped ahead; trailing
behind him are the vices men commit—routed remnants.
Behind him are the baseborn among men, routed.
