ماnot يُرتَضىis deemed suitable لِسَواكِfor anyone other than you
ما يُرتَضى لِسَواكِ
My body is like a twig of arak,
A body like a twig of arak,
deemed fit for none but you.
Deemed fit for none but you;
ماnot فيهِin it نَفعٌbenefit لِباغٍfor a seeker
ما فيهِ نَفعٌ لِباغٍ
إلّاexcept اِنتِحالُassuming the guise of سِواكِa tooth-cleaning stick
إلّا اِنتِحالُ سِواكِ
No seeker finds any use in it,
There is no use in it for a seeker,
save to take it up as a tooth-stick.
Except to pass for a tooth-cleaning stick.
