نازِحِ ماذا بِنَفسِهِ صَنَعا
Alas for the stranger in the land
And mercy to the stranger in the country who is displaced
far away—what has he done to himself?
What has he done with himself?

بِالعَيشِ مِن بَعدِهِ وَلا اِنتَفَعا
He parted from his loved ones; they found no joy

He was cherished near their home,
He was dear when close to their homes
until, when they grew distant, he was humbled.
Until when they were separated, he became humble.
يَقولُhe says فيin نَأيِهِhis separation وَغُربَتِهِand his exile
يَقولُ في نَأيِهِ وَغُربَتِهِ

He says in his separation and exile:
He says in his remoteness and estrangement:
All that He has done is justice from God.
"All that God has ordained is just."
