وقطْبُ الدين فارسُها الهُمامُ
The resplendent state sways with pride,
The auspicious state wanders astray
and Qutb al-Din is her valiant knight.
And the pillar of faith is its daring knight

جَريءٌ عند مُختلفِ العَوالي
إذاwhen ذَلَّis humbled المُثقَّفُthe straightened spear والحُسامُand the keen sword
إذا ذَلَّ المُثقَّفُ والحُسامُ
Bold where spearpoints cross,
Brave in the face of different misfortunes
when the straightened spear and keen sword are humbled.
When the cultivated and the swords fall short

ويحْسُدهُ على الجودِ الغُمامُ
He surpasses the Indian blade in might,
He surpasses the Indian blade in valor
and the clouds envy him his generosity.
And the clouds envy his generosity

The battlefields praise him
whenever drought or conflict arises.
When drought or conflict intense

So in peacetime his palm is a cloud,
In times of peace, his rest is a cloud
and in wartime his palm is death.
And in times of war, his rest is a flock of doves

When Qaymaz is named, fear seizes
When it is said an eagle has arrived
the champions of battle, and the noble rejoice.
The brave are elated and the generous applaud

He deemed him worthy of eminence and glory,
The Imam saw him fit for glory and honor
so the Imam set him above the people.
And advanced him over all the people
