برامِكَةٌBarmakids يمتارُهمْobtains provisions from them كلُّevery مُعْسِرِneedy person
برامِكَةٌ يمتارُهمْ كلُّ مُعْسِرِ
Each age has, among the finest of its people,
Each era has peers of its people,
Barmakids from whom every needy person obtains provisions.
Bramikas who excel them, each facile,

Abu Al-Fadl Yahya is a peer of Yahya ibn Khalid,
In generosity, and his father Ja‘far is like Ja‘far.
