The Khattī lance covets—its joints sound,
The spears of Khatt yearn—their joints sound,
its upper shafts tall, its spearheads honed—
their upper shafts long and their spearheads sharpened—

the piercing force of the Right Hand of the Faith in his glorious deeds,
for Yamin al-Din’s keenness in his glorious deeds,
whenever his resolves drive straight toward them.
whenever his resolves press onward toward them.

A young hero who surpasses the towering mountain in steadfast poise,
A young man who surpassed the lofty mountain in steadiness,
just as his acts of bounty surpass the radiant rain clouds.
as his generous deeds surpassed the bright clouds.
